Achilles Tendon Support: Additional support of the Achilles tendon protects and prevents irritable tendons.

Padded Foot Soles/Shin and Ankle Area: The special support of the foot sole prevents irritations caused by pressure spots.

Inner foot support: Stabilizes and regulates the pressure in the inner shaft.

I purchased these for wearing when I have 15 hour days of standing and walking on concrete floors. Even though my feet and legs are still tired at the end of the day, these are the first socks that have allowed me to feel back to normal within a very short time period – no more night cramps, etc. that I have experienced with other compression socks. As these are thicker I expected them to feel hot, but did not experience any problem.
I would definitely recommend them.
